We are very grateful to the late Mr.Jaques Faullummel, our "très bon ami francais", who stimulated us tremendously in fossil collecting and was our teacher for many years. He donated also many nice specimen to our collection of French fossil shells.
It is extremely difficult to collect Thanetian shells in good condition and to clean them well enough. We show you our results without shame!
